A year that is soon to come to a close! Looking back at 2024!
I hope to continue the tradition I’ve started a few years ago of looking back on the prior year and sharing my thoughts with you in writing.
It’s something I’ve done for a long time, and I always like sharing updates on what we accomplished and what happened last year. The moment has come to reflect on the blessings in your life and how you have gracefully adjusted to the altered circumstances. Now is the perfect moment to express my gratitude for all the ways you have supported me, my family, and my coworkers, both professionally and personally.
When starting something new, it’s important to be consistent, as the saying goes. In many respects, this year was instructive as well!
It seems fitting to look back on the last year as we near the end of it.
I shall begin by discussing the individual aspect:
In terms of my own life, I’m glad to report that my loved ones made it through the new year unscathed. Dubai and Abu Dhabi were the destinations of a family holiday.

My visits to my hometown Hingoli were more frequent as compared to the previous year and I am about to take some of my friends and family who never visited the place earlier and would like to visit the world famous wonder “Lonar Crater ( one of the only 3 big craters in the world and the only one in Asia) , Huzur Saheb Sachkhand Saheb Gurudwara ( The famous and one of the most important religious sites for Sikhism and shrine of Shri Guru Govind Singh ji ), Aundha Nagnath ( One of the 12 Jyotirlings ) . Being born in the area around such well-known landmarks is something I really take for granted.
In terms of my health, I have persisted on my fitness quest, being more consistent in my workouts and maintaining a balanced diet. My intentions for a Nepalese trip known as the “Annapurna Circuit” were derailed by unexpected weather conditions. The biggest flood Nepal has seen since 1970, with over 200 people missing and 88 killed, forced me to abandon my trip after I reached Kathmandu for the second year in a row. I took a trip of Kathmandu and saw some of its most well-known landmarks, including Patan Darbar, the ancient capital of Lalitpur. I have never seen a carving as stunning as this one.

On the other hand, I persisted with my writing pastime and finished my sixth book, “Culture Drives Strategy: Unlocking Success Through Alignment.”
The article delves into the topic of how to effectively implement business strategy and how to comprehend the influence of work culture and emotions on our common human experience.
On the social front: Our NGO Quantum Foundation achieved different milestones. By the year 2035, we want to have achieved our “Mission One Million” goal of having one million individuals who are emotionally literate. It is with much pleasure that I inform you that we have already passed the halfway point. “We will have reached the half million mark by 2023.” We began with the following under this:
- Free emotional literacy sessions which speak about emotions in our day-to-day life and their impacts. We arranged sessions in various countries for various companies, government organisations and NGOs as well as various departments free of cost.
- Café EQ: The panel discussion on EQ and it’s application areas was re started and we had Café EQ 5.0 titled as “Leading and influencing using EQ” where renowned corporate leaders presented their views.
- The Podcast “Emotionally Yours with Pratik” which is available across 10+ platforms including Amazon, YouTube, Spotify, etc… is more than a year old and my channel https://youtube.com/pratik0510 is about to complete 25000 subscribers as I write these lines. I am so glad that we have been able to gain insightful details of famous people from differnet walks of life such as business, entertainment, social sector, sports, law, corporates, financial experts and have influenced others are on their way soon.

- We have also been successful in getting “Emotional Intelligence” integrated as subject in main curricula of many school boards, polytechnic and for various colleges and universities including deemed universities in India as a mandatory subject.
The second project called Project Dharohar (related with history and legacy we carry) under which we achieved the following:
- Recognise: We recognise the renowned historians under Late Shri Prakashchandra SURANA awards in the following categories for this year:
1) Late Shri Prakashchandra SURANA Senior Historian Award was conferred upon Dr. S.M. alias Raja Dixit
2)Late Shri Prakashchandra SURANA Digital Historian Award to Mr. Kurush Dalal.

- Inspire: Under this part, we encourage schools, colleges, universities to form history clubs where the young minds can be influenced and inspired to study history through story telling in history, historical site visits, research, etc. . . . Under the same, we conducted the debate competitions on 31st January 2024 named as Late Shri Prakashchandra SURANA history debate awards and was held and conducted by the history club established in The Orchid School Baner, Pune
- Support: We support the students under “Late Shri Prakashchandra SURANA Scholarship” as a part of Quantum Fellowship for students doing Ph.D. in history. We signed Memorandum of Understanding with Deccan College

On the professional front, the year has been great as the company in India, Quantum Infotrainers and Consultants Private Limited, has achieved good sales and is expected to close 25% higher than the previous Financial Year. The company was awarded as the best MSME award in training sector by MSME Chamber of Commerce and Industries. We added 30 new customers and delivered sessions across the domains of IT Skills, Soft Skills, Life Skills, Coaching and Cross Culture Sensitivity.

The company in Singapore “Quantum Trainings Pte Ltd.” has done well in terms of retaining major clients and acquiring major clients in IT, BPOs and Pharma companies globally. We also acquired a major client who is one of the biggest financial consulting companies in APAC for our training services Soon we shall make our footprints in GCC and MENA regions apart from APAC.
The tireless journey grows achieving various milestones, overcoming hurdles and ensuring that the journey is enjoyable. This is only possible with the support of near ones like you. The family, friends, associates, colleagues, clients and everyone who has been a part of the journey, no words of gratitude can express the contribution they have made in making this journey enjoyable.
The never-ending quest progresses by reaching new landmarks, conquering new challenges, and making sure the journey is fun. You and others close to you are the only ones who can make this happen. No amount of thanks is adequate for the family, friends, associates, coworkers, clients, and everyone else who has been there. Your presence has made the journey more bearable.
With the end of this year drawing near and the start of 2025 just around the corner, it is fitting that we reflect on the blessings bestowed upon us thus far and make plans to welcome the optimism, hope, and positivity that the New Year will bring.
As we inch closer to bid a goodbye to the passing year and ready to welcome the coming year 2025, it’s time we express gratitude for all that life has given us and prepare ourselves for welcoming the New Year that brings the positivity, hope and above all, optimism!
Wishing everyone happy festive times and in advance, Wishing You a Very Happy New Year 2025!!
Warm Regards
Pratik P. SURANA
